PERRY, Okla. – The Ditch Witch organization announces winners of its RT30 National Demo Days Sweepstakes at The Rental Show, Feb. 10-12, 2014. Each day of the three-day show, the organization awarded a winner with use of a standard-configured Ditch Witch RT30 Ride-On Trencher for one full year.
The three Ditch Witch RT30 National Demo Days Sweepstakes winners are:
- Kenneth Chapman, president of Grandpaw’s Tool Shed Rental, Eastland, Texas
- Randy Jarman, president of Universal Rent-All, Inc., Clearfield, Utah
- Cindy Ferwerda, owner of Grand Rental Station, Ludington, Mich.
“This sweepstakes shows our continued support of the American Rental Association (ARA) and the rental industry,” said Scott Smith, Ditch Witch Director of Sales. “On behalf of the entire Ditch Witch team, we congratulate all three winners who now have a new tool to expand their business.”
Starting December 1, 2013, running through February 12, 2014, registered ARA members and The Rental Show attendees were invited to participate in the sweepstakes. Participants were invited to register online at www.ditchwitch.com, or at the Ditch Witch show booth. Only U.S. residents were eligible to participate.
At the end of the sweepstakes period, three winners were randomly chosen from the entire pool of entries during The Rental Show.
The Ditch Witch RT30 ride-on trencher has a compact footprint and tight turning radius that makes the 24.8-horsepower (17.9-kW) RT30 an ideal trencher for installing utilities on tight jobsites. The RT30 is an excellent value for rental companies seeking to offer a product that is more powerful than a walk-behind and more affordable than standard-size ride-on trenchers. Owners will enjoy the benefits of low maintenance and reliable performance, and contractors will enjoy the RT30’s comfortable operator station, easy-to-use controls and trenching capability of up to eight inches (20 centimeters) wide and 42 inches (107 centimeters) deep. The RT30’s 42 inch (107 centimeters) boom provides a 36 inch (91 centimeters) cover depth, which satisfies most city codes and requirements. The maneuverable, four-wheel-drive RT30 combines a tight turning radius with ground drive speeds of 5.3 mph (8.5 km/h) forward and 2.7 mph (4.3 km/h) in reverse.
