Main Street of Perry receives Greenspace Enhancement Grant from Ditch Witch and The Toro Company
PERRY, Okla. (August 1, 2025) – Dedicated to revitalizing outdoor spaces in the communities where employees live and work, Ditch Witch and parent company, The Toro Company, are pleased to announce Main Street of Perry is receiving a $100,000 grant as part of the Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program. The Perry Courthouse Square Greenspace project aligns with the company’s focus to create vibrant, thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that foster community connection, support local vitality, and enhance the overall experience of shared public places.
Each year through The Toro Company Foundation’s Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program, the company supports nonprofits and public agencies worldwide by providing financial grants to revitalize parks and green spaces, enrich outdoor environments of local neighborhoods and schools, educate on the efficient use of water, and support sustainable agriculture through community gardens and other projects.
Main Street of Perry is dedicated to strengthening the downtown area through community and economic collaboration. With a focus on historic preservation, inclusive experiences, and quality of life, the organization has played a key role in Perry’s downtown development for nearly three decades.
The Perry Courthouse Square Greenspace project will revitalize the outdoor area surrounding the Noble County Courthouse, Perry Carnegie Library, and the town’s Post Office—central landmarks in Perry’s Historic District. Grant funding will support landscaping and lawn restoration around a new stage and entertainment area with built-in amphitheater seating and integrated green spaces. The project aims to create a more vibrant, accessible, and welcoming downtown, boosting local pride, drawing visitors, and supporting nearby businesses. It will also address much-needed improvements to existing trees, landscaping, and sidewalks, while creating a better space for community events.
