Ditch Witch Expands Demonstration Area for Versatile, Compact Equipment at GIE+EXPO

PERRY, Okla., Oct. 4, 2018 – The Ditch Witch organization, a Charles Machine Works Company, has expanded its outdoor demonstration area at the 2018 GIE+EXPO, Oct. 17-18 in Louisville, Kentucky. Landscape professionals, golf course superintendents, general contractors and anyone else interested in the green industry can learn first-hand about the market-leading mini skid steers through product demonstrations, detailed presentations and in-booth product showcases.

The full family of versatile, construction-grade Ditch Witch mini skid steers will be available for attendees to demo at outdoor booth 7634D, including the SK600, SK800, SK1050 and SK1550. Named one of Equipment Today’s Top 50 New Products of 2018, the SK1550 is the brand’s most powerful mini skid steer.

Unit capabilities range from small-scale landscape and irrigation jobs to larger tree handling and sod transfer projects. All models feature customer-driven enhancements, including more power to the attachment, quicker cycle times, improved versatility and durability, an unbeatably smooth ride and an ergonomic, comfortable operator platform.

“With the SK units and attachments on-site and a larger demonstration area, we’re hoping to give landscapers the opportunity to get a better feel for the equipment and their customer-driven enhancements,” said Chris Thompson, Ditch Witch product manager, compact equipment. “We understand it’s a big decision and large investment to add new equipment to a fleet, so we want to do everything we can to help ease the decision process.”

On Thursday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and then again Friday at 10 a.m., attendees of a detailed product presentation at the outdoor booth will receive a $2,000 credit towards any SK attachment with the purchase of a new SK unit. Throughout the show, the indoor booth, near the entrance and event registration area, will feature a putting green and will host giveaways.
