The 11-hp (8.2 kW) RT10 is the walk-behind trencher for the small contractor or homeowner—designed by the small contractor and homeowner. With Ditch Witch equipment trademarks like maneuverability, easy steering and operation, the RT10 compact trencher is designed for one essential mission: put more utilities in the ground faster. There are lots of ways to customize your RT10, too, including a choice of tires or tracks and a backfill blade that is so efficient you just might retire that shovel.

Best-in-class mobile speeds (up to 3.7 mph/ 5.9 k/h, with tires) so you'll spend less time mobiling to the jobsite and more time getting the job done.
Optional, inexpensive backfill blade is designed to make backfilling virtually effortless.
Optional Roto Witch^® boring attachment, enables you to bore under sidewalks, driveways, and other obstacles without bringing in extra equipment; no competing trencher in its horsepower class can do this.
Only three color-coded controls are needed to operate the amazingly easy-to-use RT10 walk-behind trencher.

Outboard bearing support supports the auger and headshaft, for reliable productivity trench after trench.
For trenching in tough ground conditions, torque to the trencher chain can be increased with the simple change of a sprocket.
Digging systems are made of genuine Ditch Witch chains, teeth, and sprockets, which dig longer and last longer than any other digging system on the market.
Other options include a remote air filter for the Honda engine, hour-meter/tachometer, single lift point, and an S1A trailer package.
