KEY FEATURES DETAILS LITERATURE MANUAL
- Changing direction to dislodge the tool is as easy as flipping a lever; air flow to the tool can remain on, increasing the speed of the bore.
- Three optional replaceable tool heads designed for specific soil types enable the PT30 to bore through virtually any soil with minimal deflection from underground obstacles; soil-specific tool heads also reduce wear on the tool.
- Available bolt-on expander expands the tool's diameter to 4.25 in (108 mm), so you can do larger installations with the same tool.

- Optional Ditch Witch B1 beacon allows you to track the progress of your bore with Ditch Witch 750T and 752T electronic trackers; also compatible with Ditch Witch 950R, 910R, and 150R electronic locators.
- The PT30's nose and tail have a 0.25-in (6.35 mm) larger OD, enabling you to install, for example, a 2-in (51 mm) product with a 2-in tool, increasing the PT30's productivity and the value of your investment.
- The PT30 is built to last, with tool body and striker components manufactured from the highest-quality, heat-treated, high-strength alloy steel.
- The PT30 is manufactured with one-third fewer components than similar tools, so it is easy to operate, easy to service, and easy to own.
- Ditch Witch piercing tools are backed by superior quality service and support, available only from your local Ditch Witch dealer.

ACCESSORIES, PT30
Tapered Head Use this head for wet, spongy or loose soil conditions where no obstructions are anticipated. Helps extend tool life by protecting the main tool body. |
Bolt-On Expander This removable expander bolts around the exterior of the PT30 piercing tool, enlarging the tool's outside diameter. Tool performance is maintained even when the tool direction is reversed. |
Stepped Head Sharply defined "steps" enable the head to bite its way through underground obstructions, such as roots and small rock, rather than being deflected. |
Splined Stepped Head The step design has splines around the perimeter of the head, which is ideal for tight soil conditions, such as hard, dry, compacted soils. |
