Using the proper drilling fluid mixture is crucial to your HDD operation. Our Drilling Fluid Formulator is designed to help you determine the recommended fluid volume along with the type and proper ratio of formula additives. The Drilling Fluid Formulator also recommends a backreamer size and provides an estimate of the expected time per pipe to clean the hole.

	What size of bit will you be using for the pilot bore?

	It is important to note that pulling back faster than the recommended " time per pipe " does not allow adequate drilling fluid flow and mixing to occur during the backreaming process.
